  1. Salutations Dr. Lew Naylor,

I hope you are well. Your name came up as a recommendation for an individual who knows a lot about composting and could help us brainstorm ideas for setting up a food waste collection system in Richmond (IN).

Quick background about me: My name is Lily Fishleder and I grew up in New York City and just graduated from Earlham College with a B.A. in Human Development and Social Relations as well as an Outdoor Education designation. I visited Goshen College yesterday for Nature Fest and met with Dave Ostergren who recommended you to me first.

I am working with the Wayne County Food Council to establish a food scrap collection system through a creative business model/coop to generate revenue for things like community food education, local grocery store, or a community kitchen, to name a few ideas we have.

If you have some time and are interested in this project please contact me: lily.fishleder@gmail.com or 6463342258.

    Thanks for your time.

    In friendship,
    Lily Fishleder
